Rhythm Parade Reviews

The Los Angeles nightclub of Nils T. Granlund served as the setting for a rather meager story about a singer, Storm, who is left to care for an eight-month-old baby when its mother takes off for Hawaii. This gives a jealous competitor, Wiley, the chance to cause some problems for Storm. The rest is just a display of musical talent and the girls of the nightclub. Songs include: "Tootin' My Own Horn" (Edward Kay, Eddie Cherkose), "Petticoat Army," "Mimi from Tahiti," "You're Drafted," (Dave Oppenheim, Roy Ingraham), "Wait Till the Sun Shines Nellie," (Andrew B. Sterling, Harry von Tilzer), "Sweet Sue," (Will J. Harris, Victor Young), and "'Neath the Yellow Moon in Old Tahiti" (Kay, Cherkose).
