Martial arts star Sho Kosugi follows up his highly entertaining PRAY FOR DEATH with a less successful entry that resorts to dramatic cliches and overextended fight sequences. This time around Shiro Tanaka (Kosugi) is a narcotics agent based in Phoenix who, with his partner Ray Jones (Richard Wiley), makes life difficult for drug runners. While RAGE OF HONOR is technically impressive and generally well acted, it lacks the believability and script strength necessary to provide compelling entertainment.
