Radical Jack Reviews

Reviewed By: Jeremy Wheeler

Good old Billy Ray Cyrus hasn't starred in too many movies, but thankfully, the world will always have Radical Jack! Like a poor man's Road House, Billy Ray slugs it out with hordes of redneck thugs and dishes out the lovin' to the town's number one bad girl. Of course, his mullet is sublime in each shot, as is his slow, Southern drawl. For the supporting cast, you have none other than George "Buck" Flower, here showing his range outside of John Carpenter films as he chews up scenery left and right. While the flick is straight ahead B-movie trouble, the funny thing is that you can't help but root for Jack as he takes down the town baddies and drives off into the sunset in his Jeep. It's all pretty predictable, but there's enough gratuitous brawling and dreadful acting that you won't be able to walk away from Radical Jack even if you wanted to.
