Teddy Blue (Frank Albertson) is the spunky auto designer of a firm inherited by Amelia Cruikshank (June Clyde). The company is in trouble if it doesn't win the upcoming race, and an unscrupulous manager tries to ruin the firm by disparaging the race car's design. Teddy jumps into action, redesigns the car in time to enter the race, and saves the day, with some mistaken-identity plot mechanics to add interest to the outcome.
