This entry in Weissmuller's JUNGLE JIM series finds our hero off in the jungle once more, this time to battle foreign agents. An army captain has disappeared and the trail leads to some enemy spies who want a valuable fiberglass plant for their own nefarious purposes. It's all routine stuff with the standard amounts of wild beasties, cutthroat bad guys, and uncivilized natives. The missing army captain is none other than Savage, which is a handy way to work in the love interest. The "pygmies" of the film's title are actually white midgets, who are ruled by Barty, one of Hollywood's favorite little people.
