Elliott plays the western legend (whose nickname the actor had adopted as his own) in this routine adventure about a group of settlers who leave Kansas for a go at the wilderness of Colorado. They come up against a band of Indians who don't want any more white settlers on their land. Despite a very good outing by Elliott, an incohesive plot and slack dialog mar any chances this picture had.
