One More Time Reviews

This sequel to the successful SALT AND PEPPER has the same two detectives, Davis and Lawford, retired from the force and running a nightclub. When the club is closed down, Lawford goes to London to try and persuade his wealthy and stuffy twin brother to lend him a hand. He refuses, but after a brief sampling of the local night spots, Lawford gives it another try, only to find his brother has been murdered. Lawford switches clothes with the corpse and poses as his brother. Lawford then summons Davis, and the two come to realize that Lawford's supposedly upright brother was actually a smuggler, whose enemies still think he is alive. The script offers some laughs but overworks the best elements of the original film.
