No Way Back Reviews

Williamson stars as an unethical black detective. The minimal plot concerns his efforts to capture Pierce, a gangster who's after money embezzled by Woolf. Williamson, who also wrote, directed, and produced this film, has made a mean-spirited, anti-woman, anti-white diatribe. He flexes his macho muscle as he gets his white adversaries while engaging in brutal rapes that supposedly leave women begging for more. This was one of the many supermacho black exploitation films (known as "blaxploitation") made during the 1970s aimed at the angry black urban male.
