A psychologist visits a mansion to investigate the sanity of its wealthy, reclusive owner's daughter. She discovers that a number of doctors have been invited to the mansion and end up murdered. Could the crippled recluse be the one to accuse?

Somewhat creepy thriller starring Morgan as a legless homicidal maniac who wanders about a mansion on artificial limbs, killing off the doctors responsible for amputating his legs. Lugosi got top billing, but he has a pathetically small role as the butler. Elyse Knox originally had the role of the maid but was replaced by Janet Shaw due to illness. The picture was shot in 11 days. Beebe directed some fairly atmospheric sequences, but the climactic fire scene was actually stock footage from the end of THE GHOST OF FRANKENSTEIN.
