Murder at 45 R.P.M. Reviews

An average suspense film from France starring Darrieux as a famed singer and Auclair as her accompanist. They become lovers after Darrieux's songwriter-husband, Servais, leaves the marriage in a fit of jealousy. When Servais is killed in a mysterious car crash, the lovers begin to suspect each other of murder. Matters are further complicated when they receive a recorded message from Servais, and his friend and publisher, Guisol, receives a new song written by him. These revelations nearly destroy Darrieux and Auclair's relationship, for they fear that Servais has returned from the grave. Eventually they suspect that Guisol is perpetrating a hoax, but before he can confess his motives, he is killed in a fall down an elevator shaft, leaving the reunited lovers to wonder why.
