More Dead Than Alive Reviews

Walker stars in this fairly interesting western about a former gunman who leaves prison after an 18-year stretch and vows to change his evil ways. Unfortunately, the West has changed during his incarceration, and he must consider performing in a Wild West show run by Price (in a nice change-of-pace performance). Initially Walker refuses to degrade himself in the show and drives a supply wagon instead. Once out on the trail, however, he is ambushed and left for dead by the villainous Henry, who sought revenge against Walker after Walker had foiled Henry's younger brother's escape from prison. Nursed back to health by Francis, Walker agrees to join Price's company and is billed as "Killer" Cain. The younger sharpshooter, Hampton, is angered over Walker's arrival and constantly challenges the older man to shootouts. The fed up Walker leaves the show and settles down with Francis to run a small ranch. Meanwhile, Hampton goes mad and kills Price, then is killed by Henry who has learned that Walker survived his ambush. Walker aids in Henry's capture and tries to begin a new life (again). But a man named Karma (bad, presumably) arrives at the ranch and kills Walker in revenge for a shooting Walker committed many years before.
