Mister Big Reviews

Though not much of a story, this film about a group of drama students who stage a lively show, does offer an abundance of song and dance routines to make up for its lack of plot. The students at a ritzy drama school are at odds with the owner's belief in teaching nothing but the classics. The kids would rather concentrate on swing-type entertainment, so when the owner goes away they decide to try to stage their own show. Though the difficulties seem insurmountable, the kids manage to pull it off in time to prove to the owner the worth of the new types of music and dance. Songs include: "This Must Be a Dream," "Kittens with Their Mittens Laced," "Things I Want to Say," "Spirit Is in Me," "Rude, Crude, and Unattractive," "Thee and Me," "We're Not Obvious" (Inez James, Buddy Pepper), "Moonlight and Roses" (Ben Black, Neil Moret).
