An enjoyable Higgins family tale which has Ernest losing $5,000 worth of bonds he was delivering. His dad, Karns, comes up with the idea of marrying their grandpa, Charters, to a wealthy old widow. Charters sends the old dame a letter stating his intentions, but Karns succeeds in getting a bank loan. Charters is left in a jam, and finally has to decide not to marry the woman, but she sues for breach of promise. The madcap adventures of this crazy family are all straightened out by the finale.
