Maroc 7 Reviews

Charisse plays a fashion magazine editor who uses her jet-setting job as a front for the jewel-smuggling operation she runs on the side. Her photographer and top model join her in the racket. Secret agent Barry is on to Charisse. Posing as a safecracker, he convinces Charisse to let him in on a scheme to smuggle an expensive diamond out of Morocco. Working with the local chief of police, Barry attempts to catch Charisse and her gang red-handed. Aided by well-paced direction and scenic photography of the Moroccan landscape, this entertaining story is filled with enough twists to keep the audience guessing. Charisse fails to project the type of authority her role calls for, while Barry is as slick and smooth as ever. The script is hampered by uneasy dialog.
