Mako: The Jaws of Death Reviews

With the success of JAWS in the summer of 1976, minor production companies were rushing to produce cheap shark movie imitations. This outing has Jaeckel making a living renting sharks. But he finds himself being abused by the local research facility and a roadhouse, so it's only natural that he exact a little revenge. From there the film turns into a few set pieces showing the locals being done in by Jaeckel's sharks. Featured in the cast is Luke Halpin, a veteran of the "Flipper" movies and TV show. Grefe, the producer and director, went on to become a second-unit director for numerous James Bond features.
