Majin, the Monster of Terror Reviews

The mixing of two of Japan's favorite genres, monsters and samurai, had to happen sooner or later. During a medieval civil war, the ruler and his wife are killed by the chamberlain, but the ruler's children are able to escape to the mountain. The chamberlain then becomes ruler and enslaves the inhabitants of the village. One of the children, the prince, and a servant are caught when they return to the village. The princess prays to the warrior god, Majin, and the god comes to life, saving the prince and killing the chamberlain. The monster Majin isn't as hokey as Godzilla, but the movie isn't THE SEVEN SAMURAI either.
