Brown stars as a not-so-clever press agent who hooks up with unemployed chorus girl Moore and declares her "Miss Manhattan" in order to promote a line of inexpensive clothes. Brown then creates a "Mr. Manhattan" to escort Moore in public and even goes so far as to arrange a fake marriage for the two. At the last minute, Brown realizes that he's in love with Moore, fires "Mr. Manhattan," and goes to the altar himself. Songs include: "Ma, He's Making Eyes At Me" (Sidney Clare, Con Conrad--sung by Moore), "Unfair To Love" (Sam Lerner, Frank Skinner--sung by Moore), and "A Lemon In The Garden Of Love" (M.E. Rourke, Richard Carle).
