Ma Barker's Killer Brood Reviews

Tuttle gives a lively performance in this otherwise dry film based on the true adventures of America's most notorious mother. The story begins with Tuttle's early career in dust-bowl Oklahoma. She leads her sons astray and offers advice to such infamous names as John Dillinger, Baby Face Nelson, and Machine Gun Kelly. The law finally catches up with her at her plush Florida hideout as the film climaxes with an action-packed shoot-out. Some good action sequences help keep this from being boring. The low-budget film was derived from a teleseries, with various episodes edited together.
