Love Is a Funny Thing Reviews

Fair romantic film told with a light touch starring Belmondo as a composer and Girardot as a French film actress whose paths cross while working on a film shot in the United States. Though they are both married, the couple fall into an affair as they tour the sights of America (Monument Valley and Las Vegas are given special attention). Guilty, Girardot phones her husband and tells him of the affair. Belmondo and Girardot decide to end their fling and go their separate ways. However, Belmondo reestablishes contact with Girardot and arranges to meet her in Nice. She shows up for the romantic rendezvous, but he never arrives.
