Land of the Minotaur Reviews

The mythic Cretan minotaur is revived in this distinctly silly effort, which contains endless scenes of shrouded cultists murmuring incantations around an altar. A baron (Cushing) leads a modern-day Greek cult that worships the man-bull, using human sacrifices of women to honor the god. An Irish priest (Pleasence), comes in to stop the blasphemy by sprinkling holy water over everything. There's enough gratuitous violence and naked female flesh to satisfy fans-- and the music, surprisingly enough, is by rock-New Age composer Eno.
