Kiss of the Vampire Reviews

In this suspenseful chiller a newlywed couple is stranded at an inn near a villa inhabited by a cult of vampires. De Souza and his bride, Daniel, are invited to dinner by the mysterious host of the villa, Willman. After a pleasant meal they are invited back the next evening for a masquerade ball. At the ball De Souza is drugged, while Daniel is put into a trance, paving the way for the vampires. Waking up, De Souza is able to enlist the help of Evans, who rescues Daniel and sprinkles the castle with garlic, unleashing a horde of bats onto the vampires. This well-paced drama is aided by strong characterizations as well as designs and photography which create the proper mood.
