An uneventful whodunit with enough bloody murders to classify as a slasher film, KILLER WORKOUT is set almost entirely in a Hollywood health club. At "Rhonda's Workout," a spa run by the pretty Rhonda Johnson (Marcia Karr) a number of murders occur, most performed with a jumbo-sized safety pin. The hard-as-nails detective assigned to the case is Lt. Morgan (David James Campbell), who starts digging into Rhonda's past. A technically shabby production, KILLER WORKOUT is filled with plot holes and characters with absolutely no motivation.
