It Couldn't Have Happened Reviews

Confused, talky, and overly stagy mystery concerning a muddled murder that goes on backstage at a play. Everyone involved is weighed down by the plot. The package includes a gangster who wants his moll to get a part, a frustrated playwright, and two murdered producers. Denny falls short as the playwright, as does Brent in the role of a producer's wife. Only Courtney is able to rise above the sludge, as the stenographer who wants to identify the killers.
