Vaguely interesting science fiction film involving an alien protoplasm that invades a British isle and causes a massive heat wave that burns most of the residents to death. Lee is the scientist who figures out what's happening but is unable to do anything to help. Eventually a thunderstorm melts the extraterrestrial threat.
