Intimni Osvetleni Reviews

A genuinely engaging tale of two former music-school classmates who are scheduled to give a concert in a small Czech town. Bezusek arrives in the town with his selfish girl friend. They go to a funeral and then to dinner with Blazek, who lives with his grandparents, wife, and children. The two old friends get drunk that evening and decide to leave their present lives behind. After a short time they return home, sober up, and accept their situations. Passer, a director of exceptional talent but little output, would later come to the US and direct the excellent CUTTER'S WAY. Released in Czechoslovakia in 1966.
