In Praise of Older Women Reviews

At age 12 a Hungarian boy is forced to pimp for a living after World War II. He grows up (Berenger) with a sexual predilection for older women. The film charts seven of his affairs, which involve women that range from an anti-Communist musician to a journalist he cures of frigidity. Dull and repetitious (seven times over!), this is a little more than a thinly disguised sex film. The camera work and decor are lush but can't compensate for a weak and repetitious plot line.
