A young girl needs a transfusion of a rare blood, and only three people can provide it: a black sailor about to depart for the Orient, a boxer in trouble for refusing to throw a big fight, and a murderer who has been a fugitive for 12 years. The film follows each of these men as they are persuaded to come in to save the girl's life. Interesting, if routine, medical drama.
