Hot Rod Gang Reviews

Ashley stars as the frustrated young nephew of a pair of stuffy spinster aunts who force him to live a subdued lifestyle if he wishes to inherit their fortune. Unbeknownst to the aunts, Ashley has formed a hot-rod club which he bankrolls by singing, incognito, in a rock 'n' roll band led by none other than Vincent. With the money he earns from singing, Ashley is able to enter his hot rod in a national meet. Silly story is made fun by some great tunes sung by Vincent including: "Dance in the Street," "Dance to the Bop," "Baby Blue," and "Lovely Loretta" (backup by the Bluecaps and Eddie Cochran). A must for fans of early rock 'n' roll.
