Former boxer Clements goes on a one-man crusade to crush a gambling ring run by the slimy de Corsia and his stooges. Fellow fighter Healy is killed in the ring because of a mismatched fight the gang had arranged, so Clements, now a sports columnist, goes after de Corsia himself, nearly getting killed bringing the gambler to justice.
