Honeymoon Deferred Reviews

Lowe is an insurance investigator about to go on his honeymoon with Lindsay. He's had it with the business and wants a more sedate life. But when his former employer is murdered, he and his bride forget about their cruise to Bermuda and go after the killer. This is a cheap, ineffective version of THE THIN MAN, though Lowe and Lindsay are good as the leads. The script, however, leaves much to be desired. The killer is revealed early on, so there's really no mystery. Risdon is good as a villainous auntie.
