Confusing musical has Flanagan and Allen playing a pair of film extras who are re-writing a film script to suit their "social consciousness." Meanwhile, Ambler is re-writing a will for his late partner in a newspaper publishing company. He frames Flanagan who ends up going to jail. Ambler's forged will gets him all of his partner's riches, but Flanagan escapes from jail and, after being arrested once more, exposes Ambler's sham. Some light laughs but not much else.
