Bandleader Romero and manager Ameche travel to Norway, there meeting Henie. Romero woos her, and when he returns to the U.S., she follows. Ameche builds her into a skating star and she falls in love with him (he having loved her all along). Lots of good music and dance, and who cares if Henie can't act?
