Guns of Diablo Reviews

This film is an expanded version of an episode from "The Travels of Jaimie McPheeters," a television series about a wagon train in 1849 told from a youngster's point of view. Bronson and Russell are up against some bad guys who run the town to which the pair have gone for supplies. Bronson runs into an old girl friend, Oliver, who is now married to his enemy Merlin. Bronson had long ago broken Merlin's arm, and now the man wants revenge. Merlin has Bronson jailed, but Oliver frees him. Bronson, along with Russell and Fowley, an elderly townsman, shoot it out with the gang. The bad guys are killed, but so is Fowley, who gives Russell a map just before dying. The map leads the way to a gold mine, and the man and boy, along with Oliver, set out to find it. It's all highly simplistic, and Bronson gives his two stock expressions and not much else.
