Going Highbrow Reviews

Kibbee and Pitts are a nouveau riche pair determined to break into society. They consult eccentric Horton on possible methods. He suggests throwing a lavish party for their daughter. There's just one slight problem: they have no daughter. This is resolved soon enough when Martel is whisked away from a lunch counter and into "daughterdom." It's all pretty routine material, with barely competent direction by Florey. Poor camera angles and pacing.
