An unsuccessful attempt at selling Lowe and Carter to the moviegoing public as the next Powell and Loy in an effort to capitalize on the popularity of the THIN MAN series. Lowe, a lawyer who just happens to be an expert lock-picker, finds himself hired by Scott to pick the lock of an old chest. Incredibly, Lowe suddenly becomes embroiled in an espionage scheme involving enemy agents and mysterious motivations. Quick and inoffensive, it has a few redeeming comedic moments.
