There are exactly two dog fights -- stylized so as not to show much action -- in this very slow, very long melodrama. Those drawn to the film by the promise of violence by the title and box art will be disappointed by how little action there is. On the other hand, urban renters in search of real drama -- rare for the genre -- may be satisfied if they can adjust to the low-key aspirations of the amateur cast and first-time director.
