Financially ruined by crooked stockbroker Peter Brownley, Southern judge Lee Sands and his daughter Beulah find themselves without a source of income. Beulah then moves to New York, where she gains employment in Brownley's Wall Street offices under an assumed name, hoping to expose his crooked machinations.
