Fleshburn Reviews

The ever-handy movie stereotype of a deranged Vietnam veteran rears its ugly head once again for this insipid trash. Landham is the vet who's also a Navajo Indian. He's escaped from the mental hospital and is now after the four psychiatrists who sent him there. Duggai catches up with his quartet of shrinks (Carlson, Chimento, Kanaly, and McCalman) and abandons them in the desert to prove that his own brand of medicine is more powerful than the white man's. Everyone knows that desert heat is grueling, but that would seem like a picnic compared to this. The premise is ridiculous to start with, and the cast more or less suits the quality of the screenplay. Besides animal life or cacti growing, there are few exciting moments to be found on the desert. This film, to say the least, is not one of them.
