Brown drops his series character, Nevada John McKenzie, and plays a pacifist doctor forced to use violence when the sheriff is murdered by outlaws. Doctor Brown goes after them with guns blazing in a terrific, action-packed production. Considered to be Brown's best Western. Director Hillyer worked with W.S. Hart in the silent era.
