Ferida plays the title role in Sardou's famous tragedy. Valenti is a count who is killed before he weds Ferida. She then falls in love with Nazzari, a Russian painter. Mastrocinque's directing is strong, with excellent cinematography from La Torre. (In Italian; English subtitles.)
