Dull musical starring Jean as a young singer and budding costume designer who ventures off to New York in search of fame and fortune. She soon makes some inroads into the fashion business, but her career is shattered when she is accused of being a design thief. After many songs and histrionics, and romancing with Grant, Jean is cleared of all accusations and realizes her dream of being recognized in the fashion world.
