Padilla, a lovable seven-year old moppet with unrelenting cuteness, steals this Tijuana-based charmer. A quintet of kiddies who one day "borrow" a dime from the church charity box, place a wager and win big. They have considerable trouble redeeming the blessed ticket, though. The betmaker skips town, and they have to search him out. They eventually find him, but he has a heart attack at the cashier's window, dropping the ticket. In the bustle, it sticks to the bottom of some lucky patron's shoe and is gone forever. A claustrophobic atmosphere which reeks of artificiality, but is brightened by the bright-eyed bunch.
