Diary of a Telephone Operator Reviews

Cardinale, a charmer from the country, heads for the city to make it big. Even with her raspy voice she lands the improbable job of switchboard operator and then begins her hunt for a mate, a task that proves to be a snap. She finds out that hanging on to him is a bit tougher. He quickly sets sail on a world cruise, leaving her behind with friend Spaak. Together they soothe the tedium by hooking up with a variety of male catches.
