In this Italian police drama, a hippie cop goes to Milan to look into a murder. He is called because he grew up in the same neighborhood as the prime suspect. The suspect's alibi was that he was hiding beneath a bed when the murder occurred.

A SERPICO-like character is the protagonist of this Italian film. Giraldi (Tomas Milian), a hippie police inspector, is summoned to Milan to investigate a murder because he grew up in the same ghetto as the suspect, who claims he was hiding under a bed when the victim was strangled.
