In an Irish village, a woman (Siobhan McKenna), alluring to men and hated by women, murders her lovers. Bess: Anne Crawford. Dan: Maxwell Reed. Julie: Honor Blackman. Larry: Grant Tyler. Well-acted.

Bizarre crime drama dealing with the activities of homicidal nymphomaniac McKenna, who happens to work for a priest in a small Irish village. She proceeds to seduce and kill quite a few of the local menfolk until irate townswoman Crawford traps her. McKenna gives a disturbing performance as the seductive psychotic killer. Strong stuff for 1948. Honor Blackman, the future Pussy Galore in GOLDFINGER, was 22 years old at the time, and had been in films for only a year but won rave reviews for her small part.
