Brazzi is an Italian count who invites Jones and Sanders to his villa to appraise his art treasures. He seeks to seduce Jones, who wants little to do with him. Brazzi tries to pass off his mentally ill wife as his daughter, so that he may wed the protesting Jones. There is murder but not much intrigue as the action plods along to its inevitable conclusion. The Italian Riviera landscapes provide the picture its only pleasing moments.
