Dark of the Sun Reviews

In the Congo uprising of the late 1950s, Taylor is a tough mercenary who doesn't care what side he is on as long as the side pays well. He is hired by the Congo's president to take a train through rebel-held territory and bring back fugitives and a load of uncut diamonds hidden in a beleaguered town; he has only three days to complete the mission. He is accompanied by Brown, a native of the Congo who works for more patriotic purposes; Carsten, an ex-Nazi officer; More, a drunken doctor; and forty Congolese troops. Mimieux is the sole female, a French refugee taken aboard the train. The perilous journey makes up the story.
