A poor man's NORTH BY NORTHWEST. When a call girl is savagely murdered, suspicion falls on TV ad man Beymer. While he flees across Canada, detective Ironside, a lawman with questionable ethics, pursues him doggedly. The plot twists and turns confusingly, and in the end it sputters out. Decent production values and performances can't help this miserable script.
