Cowboy in Manhattan Reviews

Tired tale of a Texas hotel musical group discovered by Catlett and brought to Broadway to start rehearsals for his new show. Cowpoke songwriter Paige pretends to be a millionaire to win the love of singing lead Langford. It's all basically a remake of YOU'RE A SWEETHEART (1937). Songs include: "A Cowboy Is Happy," "Whistle Your Blues to a Bluebird," "Mr. Moon," "Private Cowboy Jones," "Need I Say More," "Dancing on Air," "Got Love" (Everett Carter, Milton Rosen).
