Courtin' Wildcats Reviews

Reviewed By: Hans J. Wollstein

Due to sub-par sound recording, Courtin' Wildcats may not be the best recommendation for the comedic flair of veteran western star Hoot Gibson. In fact, this little comedy-western relies mostly on such juvenile antics as Gibson tearing a piece of canvas as circus bareback rider Calamity Jane (Eugenia Gilbert) is bending over to pick up something. It is hard to see how such pranks would be considered entertainment by anyone past the kindergarten age even in a less sophisticated age. Fortunately, the whole fiasco may be excused by the unfamiliarity with sound.
